We enjoy leaving the city to quest for the best. Especially poutine and burgers. Sometimes it’s just better the farther you go. To this end, we visited the renowned casse-croûte: ALFA. (They do not seem to have an Instagram account, but that’s not why we do this.)
The excellent classic poutine there definitely lives up to the hype and the opinions of local celebrity entrepreneurs turned poutine critics. You know who we’re talking about. Everything was as it should be: the wonderful gravy, cheese curds, and perfect fries.
We also indulged in their incredible chicken burger and the essential Michigan hot dog.
