We attended the @flyingtablesmtl pop-up at @lesuperqualite, where the focus was a Chiang Mai–inspired menu that highlighted the flavours of Northern Thailand with clarity and confidence.
The cooking felt thoughtful and creative, offering familiar elements presented in unexpected ways.
The pandan mimosa was particularly different, unlike anything we’d had before.
Every detail on the menu had been carefully considered.
Dessert sealed the experience: Rice Rice Rice, a composed mix of jasmine rice ice cream, Thai sticky rice, crispy rice, and pandan coconut foam. Comforting yet inventive, it captured the spirit of the pop-up perfectly—rooted in tradition, but unafraid to explore.
We look forward to the next one!
