After our plans were rained out we spent a day at @quartierdix30 and decided to try a place we’ve heard so much about @dirtydivebar.

We feel like tacos should be enjoyed on a terrrase (ideally on a sunny day but this summer has not been kind) so, we were pleased to find a covered, heated and nicely decorated one here.

The size of the bar and sheer volume of spirits is quite frankly impressive. It takes up most of the indoor space. Which… Paired with the fact the alcohol menu is 7 pages long compared to 2 for food… Ends up being an accurate indication of what you can expect your experience to be like here.
While the tacos themselves aren’t bad per se, very average, slightly crumbly with meat a little on the dry side, and lacking a little flavour – the main focus seems to be the alcohol. We would describe it more like a bar that happens to serve Mexican food.

But even then, what we ordered was underwhelming. A Horchata “loca” in a pineapple sounded somehow more sensational to us than the 20$ ice bucket we received.
