We have been wanting to go to @restocalaveras for some time – since seeing the beautiful mural while driving by.
As we sat down we made a few observations. Some of the seats are church pews which we thought was kind of cool. We love festive the decor. The old furniture, disorganized look and menus that look like they’ve been crumpled and straightened back up again 1000 times give it that extra authentic feel like you’re in an American movie depiction of what Mexico is like 😂
However, none of that matters at all because the tacos are wonderful.  Great sauces, perfectly cooked and seasoned meat, just the right size to try many different ones.

Great food, great drinks, great time – will return.
