We used @la.pizza.week as an opportunity to visit Georges le Roi du Sous-Marin in Longueuil to try not only their entry but also a sub sandwich (as it’s in the name).

This pizza was incredible with Philly steak, a wonderful “sauce du roi,” and pickles. Lots of pickles, which were added after cooking, emphasizing the taste all the more.

Le Super Special Georges is a quintessential sub sandwich bursting to the brim with delicious ingredients and exquisite house seasoning. A 7-inch sub would be enough to satisfy a normal appetite.

In this type of classic casse-croûte, we also had to get a poutine (obviously) and chose La Spéciale Longueuil (because of the location), and we loved it. Just as packed with mouthwatering ingredients as the sub and  extremely satisfying.

Pizza Week ended on May 7, but the good news is you can get this pizza anytime as it is on their regular menu. We highly suggest this place for any fans of pizza and subs. We hope places like this never go out of style.
