Why wouldn’t we visit a place called @fabriquecaramel?
We used a birthday as an excuse to try this lovely shop. We purchased an assortment of treats including artisanal macarons with both mouthwatering maple and salted caramel filling, a moist and delicious caramel brownie, fresh cinnamon buns, and, of course, a cake.

This cake was lemon grapefruit meringue topped with white chocolate and cornflakes. Chef’s kiss. 👌
While the cake didn’t have caramel, everything else did. A thick, dark, and unique type of luscious, creamy confectionery that we absolutely loved.

We have been visiting @promenade_fleury all our lives, getting to know it so well and offering suggestions to anyone who asks (or doesn’t 😂) as we think it is truly an underrated section of Montreal. This is our first time trying this particular bakery, and it definitely won’t be our last.
