Yakitori Hibahihi

Yakitori Hibahihi

Rating: 10 out of 10.

After months of curiosity, we finally got to try @yakitori_hibahihi. It was an evening that felt both intimate and assured, with a confidence that only comes from hands that know exactly what they’re doing.
From a super team behind several restaurants we already admire, the promise was clear, but the execution still managed to surprise.
The skewers arrived one after another, each one composed with intention: restrained yet expressive, familiar yet unfolding in layers. Nothing shouted; everything lingered. Smoke, seasoning, texture — thoughtfully calibrated, as though the fire itself had been consulted.

The cocktails matched that same sense of balance and precision, offering depth without distraction. It’s a warm, considered space that invites conversation without demanding attention. The decor complements rather than competes, and the setting on Plaza St-Hubert feels exactly right, rooted and vibrant.

Yakitori Hibahihi isn’t trying to impress — it simply delivers, quietly and consistently, with respect for craft and a clear point of view. It’s a restaurant built on experience, care, and a deep understanding of pleasure at the table. We left already planning our return, and we recommend it without hesitation.
