Dining at @clairejacques.mtl is truly an experience that transcends the typical restaurant outing—it’s an artistic journey through flavor! This establishment is the brainchild of culinary experts who prioritize creativity in every dish they serve, and it shows.
The menu is short, and each item is a masterpiece. An expertly crafted menu – every dish we tried was uniquely outstanding. The small portions may seem modest, but they are surprisingly filling and bursting with flavor. I found the food so exquisite that I didn’t want to eat anything else afterward, wanting to savor the incredible tastes lingering on my palate.
One standout was the mousse de foie, elevated by the incredible camerise (haskap) jello that added a delightful twist. The Candy Cap Mushroom “Mille crêpes” was unlike anything we’ve ever tasted—the mushrooms infused the dish with a beautiful maple flavor that was simply divine. 🍄🍁 And the whipped ricotta on focaccia? Absolutely incredible!
The vintage aesthetic of the restaurant, complete with cabinet plates, adds to the charm and creates a warm, inviting atmosphere. Coupled with great service, my experience was nothing short of exceptional.
