Minos Souvlaki Gyro

Minos Souvlaki Gyro

Rating: 8 out of 10.

We (coincidentally) celebrated Greek independence by having lunch at @minossouvlakigyro. We figured, if you’ve eaten 50 poutines in a week you deserve to name one after yourself so, we had to try the Poutine Niko. Solid fries, traditional sauce, the meat is well-cooked and fits very well within the dish. If we had to give any criticism about it at all, and this is purely subjective/our preference, it’s that the cheese should not be melted to the point of almost liquifying, or at all really… we like it solid. Overall they kept it simple and that’s not a bad thing.
Friendly service, come in and be greeted like and old freind (unless you have rbf like me, but they’re still super nice) Great location near jarry park just in time for summer picnics.

While we were there we realised we’ve had the same type of food there years earlier and a Google search revealed this location has previously been not one, but two similar Greek restaurants prior to this one. We hope the thrid time is a charm for Minos!
