We were looking for a place to watch the big game, but mostly eating through it, and @milestonesroyalmount fit that description.
We rolled in with one very serious goal: secure a solid viewing spot, a dependable food lineup, and drinks strong enough to carry us through four hours of emotional turbulence. I think we succeeded.
First quarter? Pitchers of sangria.
Second quarter? Cocktails and beer.
Halftime? More drinks. Hydration is important.
The food lineup was appropriate. We kicked things off with spinach and artichoke dip (because no sporting event is complete without dipping chips in something), followed by burgers that required both hands and a moment of silence before the first bite.
Now, as we all know, the big game is a little over three hours long (this one felt like seven), so obviously we stayed for dessert. It would’ve been irresponsible not to. We sampled the key lime pie, white chocolate cheesecake, and apple cobbler.
Was it life-changing? No.
Was it exactly what we needed that day? Absolutely.
Milestones delivered the holy trinity: screens, snacks, and steady pours. An adequate place for our needs? Yes. A solid game-day headquarters? Also, yes.
