We were invited to the perfectly located, lovely café @bhiveca (the B stands for bee or where the the 1st BHive Café is still buzzing – Beirut) and we were wowed.
Again, we remind you that we are not coffee drinkers, but we had a most delicious pumpkin spice latte here.
Located in downtown’s Shaughnessy Village, this colourful, cute café boasts an array of items of both Eastern and Western inspiration, reflecting the owner’s roots as well as his new home.
You’ll find everything from hot drinks such as Italian espresso and Arabic qahwah to cold ones like iced matcha and shakes. Whether you want to stay warm in winter or refreshed in summer, they’ve got you covered.
You can also satisfy your hunger with a multitude of salads, sandwiches, cakes, pastries, and the newly-introduced waffles.
@bhiveca bakes their own ka’ak (a Lebanese street-food staple) and serves them stuffed with mozzarella, halloumi, za’atar, or Nutella.
We had one of these for the first time, and it will not be our last.
We thank @514seeds for inviting us and manking us discover wonderful place.
