Nous nous sommes finalement rendus à @bedencaphe. Un café très joliment décoré, avec un mur de snacks, des canapés vintage et un piano entièrement fonctionnel (dont quelqu’un a très bien joué pendant que j’étais là).

J’ai immédiatement essayé le premier sandwich Banh Mi du menu et j’en ai savouré chaque bouchée alléchante.
C’est la première fois que je bois un café vietnamien avec un œuf. Je n’ai même pas l’habitude de boire du café, mais j’ai absolument adoré et j’ai essayé de le recréer à la maison plus tard le même jour. (sans succès 😅)

J’étais très satisfait, mais j’avais besoin d’en goûter plus, alors j’ai opté pour le Bê Matcha Taro. Un matcha de qualité avec une saveur profonde et vive, accompagné d’une mousse au taro délicieuse.

Comme nous avons un besoin obsessionnel d’essayer autant d’endroits que possible, il est rare que nous retournions dans un même endroit, mais celui-ci a été ajouté à la liste des cafés à visiter souvent.
Nous reviendrons bientôt pour essayer le menu d’automne, alors restez à l’écoute !

We finally made our way to @bedencaphe. A very beautifully and elaborately decorated cafe including a snack wall, vintage couches, and a fully functional piano (which someone played very well while I was there).

I immediately tried the first Banh Mi sandwich on the menu and enjoyed every mouth-watering, delectable bite of it. Of course, I washed it down with a coffee.
This is the first time I’ve had Vietnamese coffee with egg. I don’t even usually drink coffee, but I absolutely loved this and tried to recreate it at home later the same day. (with limited success 😅)

I was very satisfied after that glorious sandwich and coffee, but I needed to try more, so I went for the Matcha Taro iced tea. Quality matcha with a deep, vivid flavor and a lovely taro cream.

Since we have an obsessive need to try as many places as possible, it’s unusual for us to return to an establishment, but this one made it to the go-to list of cafés.
We will be back soon to try the fall menu items, so stay tuned for that!
