Through a tedious string of circumstances and lack of planning we ended up at @shakercuisineetmixologie (why is that username so long?) for a birthday.

We won’t lie we had very low expectations as all we knew about the word “Shaker” were the ready-to-drink seltzers we’ve seen at the convinence store but as we learned – this place seems very popular. (for a few reasons)
A long list of attractive, sweet and creative cocktails served in mason jars that come in two sizes for an exceptionally low price in comparison to the current average. So, if you want to have decent mixed drinks or shots and not break the bank, this is the place for you.
The burgers we ordered were not only very large and original but also very well prepared.
At 10:30-11:00pm the restaurant basically becomes a club… which surprised us. Long lines outside, bouncer, pat downs getting in, DJ, party lights… All of it.

Despite a temporary misunderstanding with the doorman (classic) our expectations were surpassed and we had a decent time.
