We recently ventured to the distant, mythical land of Laval, where foodies seldom tread, save for those who dwell there, and discovered @la_fringale_de_fabreville. We love these casse-croûtes, where you always find the most authentic and homemade-tasting burgers, hot dogs, and, of course, poutines.

First on our list was the poutine, and it was perfect! The traditional gravy was spot on; we could not have asked for better. The burger was fresh-tasting, with every ingredient shining through.

We also tried the house lemonade, which was incredibly refreshing with a delightful hint of floral notes—we suspect there might be rosewater in it.

For dessert, we just could not resist the ice cream. With so many flavors to choose from, we opted for the delicious chocolate-vanilla twist. I had to get the unique ice cream poutine, which was a hefty portion, probably more than one regular-sized person should tackle after a burger and poutine. But it was so wonderful that I finished it anyway! (I am 🐖)

Our experience was made even better by the fast and friendly service. As a bonus, there is a small mini-golf course next door that we plan to check out on our next visit. @la_fringale_de_fabreville is a fantastic spot, and we cannot wait to return! 🍔🍟🍦✨
