For some traditional poutine with superb fries and sauce, a perfect size greasy cheeseburger and some classic Montreal steamed hot dogs Casse-Croûte Normand is a great option. Open since 1964 they don’t seem to have lost popularity in the Verdun area, which we love to see. We also love the 80s playlist they has on while we were there, it fits into the nostalgic vibe.

We’re happy to have a few of these dying breed of “casse-croûtes” left and we hope they stay as busy as they were the day we visited.
