We swung by @carlota.boulangerie for some of their famous Pan de Muertos, and we do not regret the detour to this wonderful Mexican bakery. With a light and airy texture, each bite is soft and satisfying with a crisp, sweet exterior while remaining pillowy inside.

We also picked up a couple of incredibly flaky and buttery danishes, and we can’t decide which flavor we loved more.
