We were so generously invited to the old port location of @leuptownmtl for a lively experience and a giant feast.
The atmosphere is immediately obvious from the forest theme of vine-decorated walls, wicker light fixtures, a collection of djembes, and red neon signs.
Our night started with lovely cocktails and entrees of samosas, manioc sticks, grilled shrimp, chicken wings, and macaroni salad, all of which were delicious and opened up our appetite for the following spread.
A ridiculously large and excellent mutton poutine complete with well-seasoned fries and chives. Incredible Mayo Chicken, which we could not stop eating, was probably our favorite part.
After this very complete dégustation, we were treated to a stimulating and animated show by the very entertaining and extremely talented @ablo_music. Everyone was given a djembe and encouraged to play along with him.
After this vigorous musical exercise, we had satisfying waffles, ice cream, and beignets for dessert.
We very much enjoyed our whole experience and can’t wait to return.
