When we told people we would be picking apples this past weekend they all had the same confused reaction : “…But it’s January..”
It is indeed January but @domainelafrance was open for frozen Apple Picking which they then use in their Cuvée Spéciale Ice Cider.
We also got to try the new Bistro with a beautiful view on the orchard, sample their many apple products and even get a very educational (and bilingual 😅) tour of the distillerie. They also gave us marshmallows to roast by the fire as we were warming up afterwards.  And the whole thing is free!
