We took a small road trip to
@champs_de_reves, a whimsical and enchanting garden nestled in the Vaudreuil-Dorion area. Since its inception in 2016, this remarkable garden has blossomed into a mesmerizing destination, showcasing, among other things, the beauty of lavender in full bloom.

As we stepped into this serene oasis, the aromatic fragrance of lavender enveloped us, inviting us to explore its many wonders. The gardens are adorned with over 45 life-sized sculptures, each unique and extraordinary. Among them is a breathtaking horse sculpture crafted from over 7 kilometers of metal, standing majestically at an impressive 40 feet tall. This stunning piece is a testament to the incredible vision of owner Mark Rassi, who meticulously handles all landscaping designs and imagines the sculptures that grace the garden. Collaborating with talented artist Daniel St. Martin, (who has also been a part of the creation of the current sculptures at Parc Jean-Drapeau) they transform imaginative concepts into captivating works of art.

They also have a labyrinth that adds an element of adventure to the experience.

Don’t miss the souvenir shop, where you can find delightful keepsakes to remember your visit. With an array of blooming plants to admire, this garden remains open until October 31st, but the perfect time to visit is undoubtedly now, while the lavender is in full bloom.

@champs_de_reves is more than just a garden; it’s a blossoming sanctuary of art and nature that promises an unforgettable experience for all who enter its vibrant embrace.
