We stopped by @pan_american_pizza for a quick lunch. With decor reminiscent of Nonna’s cozy basement kitchen (wood-paneled walls, green tile, plants, etc.) and an equally nostalgic aroma of tomato sauce, we immediately knew we were in for a treat.
Creative, delicious, fresh, and satisfying pan pizzas (hence the name) are available in many varieties.
Menu item names always amuse us, so the first pizza we ordered was the “Arturo Ghetti” – a delightful combination of spaghetti and meatballs. Our curiosity got the better of us, and we simply had to try the “Soupe à L’Oignon” pizza. The concept is so unique, and we were absolutely not disappointed. Both our dishes offered an incredible medley of flavors and ingredients.
To accompany these delectable pies, we also ordered the humorously named “frites de clown,” which are essentially a deconstructed version of a Big Mac served over French fries – an excellent choice of entree.
We washed it all down with the lovely, exclusive “Garantie Prolongée” beer from @yisstpubpetitepatrie.
Overall, we believe @pan_american_pizza lives up to the hype and warrants a return visit.
