Going to the newest, flashiest restaurant in town is always fun, but discovering a long-established place for the first time is just as exciting.
This was the case with @bineriemontroyal for us.
Serving authentic, traditional Québécois cuisine since 1938, they have all the classics: poutine, shepherd’s pie, pea soup, tourtière, pouding chômeur, and more.
But the comfort food items don’t stop there; they serve breakfast all day, and all their alcohol is locally made here in Quebec.
The menu is just too vast to get a good sense of it in one go. We will have to return for more, but our initial impression was positive.
