After many, many attempts over the span of two years to visit @pikliz.mtl we finally made it! It was definitely worth the wait as we got to sample their newly created cocktail menu.
Decorated with alluring colours, big plants/vines, interesting paintings and a whole bunch of personal pictures that give it that extra warm, welcoming and genuine vibe.
The same energy radiates from the owners, who upon meeting, you’ll feel like you’ve known for years.
Rooted in influences passed down by family (say it with the Vin Diesel voice) every dish is meticulously created and thought out in detail. It’s clear their goal is to show us the full beauty of their cuisine.
We tried many things and all of it was wonderful. Exquisitely cooked, tender, juicy meat, delcious crispy shrimp, even crisper plantain chips… It goes on.
We can’t really explain in writing how much we enjoyed ourselves but we strongly encourage you to go and see for yourselves.
