It was a weekend of celebrating saints starting with St-Patrick which we decided to raise a glass to at @letrefletaverne. And although we did enjoy ourselves overall (who doesn’t after a few beers?) the venue we picked was initially less than welcoming.
We were met with a disorganized, rude and almost antagonistic manner. We do not remember a time where we were ever treated so poorly.
Over the course of the night however, as more people added themselves to our group and beer flowed, this attitude mellowed into a more courteous one.
They have a microbrewered line of beers we enjoy very much.
Overall the average pub food was satisfying and at par with what you’d expect at similar places. Due to the high end ingredients (duck meat etc) the prices are a little more elevated.
