This restaurant gave us everything: fried chicken, enormous buttermilk pancakes, seafood and an omelette named after one of Louisiana’s most famous rivers. Maspero was a great way to start our culinary trip through New Orleans and allowed us to mentally prepare for the portions we would have to face in the upcoming days. Are you kidding me? Crawfish étouffée omelettes ??
Barely a minute walk from the Mississippi river, and a block from Jackson Square, we recommend stopping by. You’ll be charmed by the people, the decor, and especially the food!
