We were recommended this place by locals (again), who told us we’d have the best restaurant-bought gumbo in NOLA. We were excited.
And so we ordered the Neyow’s Extravaganza Dinner. This meal for two included two cups of gumbo, house salads, seafood platter, a steak and two desserts. Easy right ? Yeah, that’s what we thought… ‘cause, of course, we forgot we were in Louisiana, where the portions are extremely generous. Our server had quite a laugh seeing us struggle, even taunting us with ‘Usually people take an extra appetizer!’

Abdominal expansion aside this was one of, if not the most delicious meal we had in New Orleans. The service was quick and fun, the food absolutely to die for, and all this for a reasonable price ! We highly, highly recommend this gem. You won’t regret it.
