We were generously invited to @mirage.restaurant on Mackay Street, and it felt like stepping into a modern oasis—warm lights, intricate patterns, and the gentle hum of conversation filling the space. It’s elegant without being pretentious, and every detail seems to draw you deeper into the flavors of the Middle East.
The grilled meats here are exceptional—each piece perfectly cooked, juicy at the center, and kissed by just the right amount of char. You can taste the balance of smoke, spice, and patience in every bite.
A fattoush salad arrived bright and fragrant, with crisp vegetables. The table filled quickly after that—hummus smooth as silk, Labneh rich and tangy, kibbeh with a delicate crunch, and golden cheese rolls that disappeared far too fast.
And to finish it all off, we had the Moroccan tea, fragrant, poured high into small glasses. It was both a finale and a pause—the kind of drink that makes you linger just a bit longer before heading out.
We thank @farzyfinedines for inviting us.
