We didn’t need Mr. Schiedelwichsen to help us find @plazawunderbar. This is yet another themed bar from the creative minds behind @snowbirdtikibar, @tavernecobra, and more.

Proving they never do anything halfway, as usual, they’ve gone all out on the décor, transforming the space into a full-on Bavarian beer house, complete with cozy wood paneling, vintage steins, and just the right amount of kitsch. Portraits of legendary beer aficionados watch over your table — from Baron Ludwig von Wolfhausen to David Hasselhoff.

The beer list is a solid mix of German and Austrian classics, perfect for anyone who loves a crisp pilsner, a malty dunkel, or a balanced helles.  And they even have some local beers from our favourite microbrewery: @4originesbeer.

It’s not quite finished yet, but even in its pre-launch state, Plaza Wunderbar already has the bones (and the beer) of another great hangout. We’ll definitely be raising another stein here soon. 🍻 Prost!
